Mark’s quiet, patient nature was loved by all. His children were his greatest joy. Whether supporting them in their various activities or making memories on family adventures, Mark’s favorite days were spent with them. He cherished every moment with family and friends who knew him fondly as Chig, Satch, or Een. He loved gathering to cheer on his Kentucky Wildcats and reminiscing over stories that always filled the room with laughter. After his ALS diagnosis, Mark’s greatest desire was to keep living each day to the fullest. He continued to fight the good fight with optimism and humor. His battle with ALS was a picture of bravery, resilience, and a quiet strength that came from his unwavering faith in God.
