Mark Eyler Obituary
Born August 10, 1947, in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late James Ross & Mary Alta Eyler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife "Margie" Margaret Alice Eyler and sister Mary Jean Eyler.
Mark had a passion for music and was an accomplished drummer playing in numerous bands including Country Ramblers, Road Masters, and Country Ramblers II. Notably Mark played with country music stars Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Moe Bandy to name a few over his musical career.
When he wasn't playing the drums, he enjoyed woodworking and tending his rose bushes.
Mark enjoyed spending time in Lancaster, Pennsylvania touring Amish farm and taking in the countryside. He loved spending time with his beloved family and spoiling his grandchildren.
Surviving is his daughter Robin Willard (Tim); grandchildren Samantha (Jeremy Hambrick), Sydney (Brandon Barber), & Michael (Keera) Willard; great-grandchildren Molly Rhoades, Oliver Hambrick, & Braxdon Barber; siblings James Eyler (Judy), Betty Rickerd; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Friends may call at THURMONT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 13880 Long Rd. Thurmont, MD 21788 on FRIDAY November 21, 2025, from 6-8 PM and SATURDAY November 22, 2025, from 10 AM to the start of funeral services promptly at 11 AM with Pastor Jay Beard officiating. Interment will follow in Germantown Bethel Cemetery.
