I just read about Mark's passing in the GA Tech Alumni Magazine. I was very sorry to hear the news. Mark played Defense on the GA Tech lacrosse team and I was a Goalie. He was a fine teammate and a very kind person. I know he loved GA Tech and lacrosse. Sadly, I lost touch after graduation, but will always have fond memories of our lacrosse games at GA Tech.

Eliot & Family. I am so sorry to hear about MarK, I would run into Mark from time to time in the center and we would reminisce about the good ole days at KO, and we would always remember another funny story!! I literally just landed in Sydney or I would have been there for the service!!! Mark was such a kind soul!!

One of the lasting memories I have from Mark, is a book: The Preppy Handbook. I never really knew that I was brought up as a preppy, until I read this book. It explained a lot of the reasons I never really fit into that group....lol
He also set me on a road of craziness in my life, when he gave me the first of many Hunter S. Thompson books.... Finally, he led me on my lifelong journey with The Grateful Dead. Of the many concerts we attended over the years, those two Dead concerts in New Orleans in 1980 became a cornerstone in my life history! But, I do regret that I was never able to get him to, "..jump out of a perfectly good airplane." For the immediate future, his unique voice just keeps rolling around in my brain..... I wonder how many days that will continue.... He is the last longterm friend I have ever had, as the other four have also headed to 'The Next Phase'......
