A friend from 8 years old. Mark,you will be missed.

I had the opportunity to grow up with Mark's Father, "Bud"; watched Mark from his childhood. I share a great respect for all of the Fortson family. The community will miss Mark. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

Just heard the news of Marks passing. Our hearts are deeply saddened. He was a good friend who was always there for us. Love to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will miss you my friend!

We both feel fortunate to have known Mark and we are so very sorry for your loss.

I grew up at the Fortson's house, Mark was like another brother to me. Such a good guy. He will be missed. My thoughts to Gary, Paul and Teresa.

Lucky to have been friends with Mark since grade-school. He had a way of making you feel like royalty even if it was just handing you a slice of pizza.

Mark was the best neighbor anyone could ask for when raising children. He was always there to help us when it was needed, and I there for him. We would always count on each other when it was time to get the children from school. I must say he had a heart of gold when it came to his daughter Lauren and my girls.
He only wanted the best care and always worried like I did. Talking many years ago but I will say.
I will miss him a lot, and so will my husband. Jeannie & Walter Babcock
