He then went to work for Dennis Junck and farmed with him for a few years until taking a job with Nucor Steel in Norfolk, Nebraska, which he continued for the next 40 years. Mark was an avid Nebraska Cornhusker fan and enjoyed watching sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, golf and NASCAR. He was a great cook and enjoyed gardening, going for rides with his German Shepherd, Pippa and spending time with his friends. He was known as “Bluzy” by his friends and “Shark” while at work. He was the #1 fan for his children in any sport or activity they had and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Dani Frahm of Yankton; three children: Lindsi (Nicholas) Pekas of Dayton, Ohio; Cory (Page) Frahm of Yankton; and Kody (Morgan) Frahm of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; six grandchildren: Lily and Kayleigh Pekas, Addie, Benny and Chloe Frahm and Rainey Jo Frahm; sister, Bonnie Hansen; brother, Roger (Pat) Frahm, and four nieces and one nephew.
