Mark, I can hear your voice and that chuckle. My heart is broken for you. Your gentle soul deserved so much more time. Now you really can tell God how to make things right, and no doubt he has already gotten an ear full from you. Farewell friend, until we met again. Much love to you.

When you think of Mark Francis,I think the first thing that comes to mind is: Mark is Mark. Also his basement at his home in Malden. Many people had great times down there over the years. Dutton woods & Mark´s Dad´s campground/cottage on the lake are other things that come to mind when you think of Mark. I met Mark in first grade at C. W. Holmes School in Malden. I went to school with him through 5th grade at Holmes, and then again at Malden High School grades 10-12. Mark surely was a character. He loved to joke around. When we were kids,we used to try to see who could come up the best one-liners against each other. If you want to try to outwit Mark, you would´ve had your work cut out for u. Beating Mark in an argument or trying to out think him with a one-liner was no easy task. Mark was sharp and very witty. Mark was very well known in Malden. I am sure everyone in the City knew him. Mark could´ve been the mayor he was that well known. Mark and I went to weights mountain on the last day of school for seniors in 1986. We went with a couple of friends. It was a very hot day in early June. It was so hot. I got so drunk. All I remember is ending up on my bathroom floor later that day. Mark went on to enjoy the rest of his night. Lol He was the life of the party. I also remember Mark´s Late Mom,she was very cool. She took mark,Paul Jack and I to Sebago Lake where she had a campsite. We had a great time. Mark´s Mom was the best! She helped marks friends in need. She was a great woman. Mark was very lucky to have her.
Talking to Mark on the phone is something I will miss a lot. We talked about WWII,old friends from Malden, work ect ect
If I ever brought up sports during our conversations, mark would always say,: I really don´t care about that and I gotta go. Mark had no problem telling u how he felt or speaking his mind. That is probably the the thing I admired most about mark. He was never afraid to speak his mind. Lol He was definitely one of a kind!
Now Mark is back with his Mom where he belongs. They are both together again, waiting for the rest of their´ family to join them. To my lifelong friend I say so long and I will see u again someday. My deepest condolences To: Felton(Mark´s Dad & his wife)His Sister Terri & Brother In Law Billy, their´ son and the rest of their´ family. Mark will be missed always.
RIP Mark! God Bless You Bro! Like Frank Sinatra said," I did it my way".
I think that song was written for Mark. God Bless
