KEUTERVILLE: Mark M. Geis, 61 passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at his home after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer. Mark was born September 7, 1964, at Cottonwood, Idaho to George and Mildred (Forsman) Geis. He attended Cottonwood schools and graduated from Prairie High School in 1983.
He married Marina Morris on December 8, 1990 at Kamiah, Idaho.
Mark was employed in the logging industry and earned recognition for his proficiency as a skidder operator. He contributed his skills to several logging companies, most recently with Todd Cleveland Logging.
He enjoyed 4 wheeling, spending time at the river and when he was younger, he liked haying with his dad. He and Marina shared the love of playing pool together.
He is survived by his wife Marina, daughter Chelsea (Cody) Moser, son Andrew Geis (Meghan Ellis) and one granddaughter Ellianna. His siblings; Donnie Geis, Luke (Gina) Geis, Jesse (Lynette Miller) Geis, Judy Geis, Sharon (Jeff) Blackmer, Jeanne (Dale) Stubbers, Kevin (Trina) Geis, Kenny (Crissy) Geis, Sally (Jason) Brown and Gary Geis. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters in law; Todd (Sharon) Morris, Lona (Rick) Travis, Angela Langston (Bruce Purviance), Michelle (Brendan) Sprute, Michael (Alyssa) Langston, Dewey (Cheryl) Morris, Deena Stephenson (Dan Gardner) and several nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 13th, 2025 from 2pm-5pm at Blackmer Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 14, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Cottonwood. Interment will follow at Keuterville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Blackmer Funeral Home, Grangeville.
