Mark Anthony Gibson, age 64, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown, Texas.
Born on December 18, 1961, Mark lived his life as a free spirit, always filling the room with laughter and light-hearted jokes.
A self-taught auto mechanic, Mark had a remarkable talent for tinkering with electronics, especially RC planes, helicopters, cars, boats and quad-copters. His hands were always engaged in a project fueled by curiosity. Mark worked with sheet metal for Bell Helicopter and General Dynamics.
When he wasn’t immersed in his projects, Mark enjoyed fishing with his friends.
Mark is survived by his father, Bill Gibson; mother, Shirley Gibson; sister, Renee’ Knollenberg; son, Mark Gibson Jr.; daughter, Kristin Petit; Nephew, Brent Knollenberg; Brother-in-law, Dean Knollenberg, and a very special friend, Venus.
