Mr. Gillispie, 63, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Baptist Anderson Hospital. He was a member of Northside Pentecostal Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, building, boiling and eating peanuts.
He is preceded in death by his grandson, Liam Withers.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Gillispie; daughter, Kristy (Jason) Brooks of Lake City, FL; sons, John C. Gillispie, Rihard (Sierra) Withers of Jacksonville, FL, Billy (Sierra) Withers of Philadelphia; 9 grandchildren and furbaby, Peanut.
Pallbearers are Lonnie Cumberland, Wade Pigg, Daniel Savell, Billy Withers.
