Mark R. Gleason Sr.

Mark Richard Gleason Sr., 67, husband of Joanne M. (Santangelo) Gleason, of Oley, PA, passed away at home on Monday, February 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 28, 1958 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Kenneth Woods and Anna (Vasko) Gleason.

He was employed by SEI Investments for many years.

Mark enjoyed golfing, Big Band music such as Glenn Miller, and learning about History and wars.

He was a diehard Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan who umpired men's softball and coached youth Babe Ruth.

He loved playing in the yard with his dogs, mainly Evee and loved westerns, old black and white programs, The Three Stooges and Svengoolie.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Megan Gleason, daughter, Gwen Gleason, son, Mark Gleason, Jr., grandchildren Ryan, Joseph, and Liam as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Hickey, and Joy Gleason.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at Devlin–Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM  to 1:00PM.
