Mark had a fulfilling career as a machinist, working for Smith and Nephew in Memphis, Tennessee. His skills and dedication were evident in every project he undertook, earning him respect amongst his colleagues. Though work was an important part of his life, it was the time spent with family that brought him the greatest happiness.
A fun-loving individual, Mark had a zest for life that was evident in all of his endeavors. He cherished the moments spent outdoors, particularly engaging in hunting and fishing. Also, he delighted in golf cart riding, finding joy in simple pleasures.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Leland Griffis and Emma Sorrells Griffis, and his brothers, Johnny and Richard Griffis, as well as his granddaughter, Jenna Bowen. The warmth of his memory will forever fill the hearts of all who loved him.
