Mark J. Jacobs

West Hartford - Mark Joseph Jacobs, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. He was the husband of Lori (Conway) Jacobs.

Mark was born in New York, the son of the late Herbert and Joan Jacobs. He was self-employed as a Wholesale Jewelry Distributor in New York. He then obtained his commercial driver’s license and moved his family to Connecticut, where he was a driver for several businesses. He enjoyed traveling on vacations with his family. He supported all his children in their life milestone events. He always told them, “I’m proud of you and I will always have your back”.

Mark enjoyed many fun weekends at Bobby and Gina‘s, sitting at the fire pit or at the pizza oven, ordering his favorite pie. He will be greatly missed by the crew.

He was a loving, generous guy. To know him was to love him. His children all adored him and will carry on his legacy. Mark enjoyed spending quality time with his wife, who is going to miss him dearly. He was her rock.

Besides his wife of 24 years, Mark leaves behind his children, Jonathan, Lindsay, Jenna Harrison (Gabe), Chynna, and Matthew; his granddaughter, Lily Rose Harrison; his brother, Richard (Trisha) and his children, January Schultz (Pete), Michael (Amanda), Casey and Jamie; his great nieces and great nephews; his brothers-in-law, Thomas Conway (Cece) and Stephen Conway (Kathleen) and two nephews; his former wife, Robin Schenkman; as well as his dog Rocky.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 114 North Main St., Wallingford, CT. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery, Wallingford Rd., Cheshire.
