Mark Douglas Keilers

Mark Douglas Keilers, 63, of La Grange, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Mark was born in La Grange, Tx on October 19, 1959, the son of the late Anna Mae (Hentschel) and Lloydell Keilers.
He attended school in La Grange and graduated in 1978.
He met Peggy Huckaby and they married on August 8, 2009 at the La Grange Courthouse.
Mark worked for LCRA as an Electrician for 33 years where he developed lifelong friendships with his co-workers. He retired in 2018.
In his spare time, Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting and his dogs. Amber and her father shared the same passion, and he taught her to hunt and fish. He loved fishing trips with his buddies. He loved to camp, boating and just being outdoors. Mark loved a good cookout, and he made wonderful meals. He had a 1968 Corvette that he loved to tinker with and drive. But his greatest love was for his family, especially his granddaughter, Lovie. He loved attending her soccer, volleyball and basketball games.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Keilers of La Grange; daughters: Stephanie Gail Keilers of West Point, Tx and Amber Gail Burkham and husband, Quinton of Oldenburg, Tx; granddaughter, Lovie Ray Burkham; nephew, Drew Fehrle of Cypress, Tx; niece, Ashley Fehrle of Magnolia, Tx; great-nieces and nephews: Baylie, Colton, Nathan, Reese and Blake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Ann Keilers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations
