Mark Ladd Obituary
On December 24th, 2023, Mark's journey on this earth ended following a long illness.
Mark grew up as an Army brat and spent his childhood traveling and living all over Europe and the United States. Mark was able to remain in the Ithaca area and attend Ithaca High School for all four years and graduated in 1976. He spent his early adult years managing restaurants in the Ithaca and College Town area. Following this, Mark was employed by Joseph Watt and then Seneca Beverage for over 20 years.
He was an avid outdoorsman: hunting, fishing, camping and skiing in his spare time. One of Mark's true passions was cooking and he was an exceptional cook.
Mark was predeceased by his Mother, Beverly (Palmer) Ladd. He is survived by his father, Richard Ladd(Patricia), his sister Kelly Ladd, his son Kevin Ladd (Eli), his niece Amanda Pero and several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
The burial will be held privately and there will be a celebration of his life in the Summer of 2024. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bangs Funeral Home, online condolences at www.bangsfuneralhome.com

I recall Mark telling me a story about bear hunting. He laughed and said, "I got the bear. But before shooting, I should have thought about how I was going to get the bear out of the woods!!!"
