1956 - 2023

Mark Ronald Lee, 67, of Park Rapids, MN, formerly of Milaca, MN passed away at home on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023.

Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Park Rapids, MN. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday. A lunch reception will be held following the services. Mark Lee was born Feb. 3, 1956 to Leonard and Leona Lee in Milaca, MN. He attended Milaca High School. He played baseball throughout his school years. He started farming and loved milking cows, and milked for 30 years. He was united in marriage to Jacquelyn (Judd) Lee on March 31, 1984. They lived on a farm north of Milaca. To this family they added three children, Amber, Heather and Jason.

In 2011, they sold the cows and went into raising steers, he had many pets and they loved getting scratched under the neck and on the tail and continued growing corn and soybeans, along with a huge garden that they shared with their friends and family. Then in 2015, they sold the farm and moved to a lake home in Park Rapids, MN and both semi-retired. We took many trips to Canada fishing, by ourselves and with all the family, and always were amazed at how many fish a person can catch.

Mark was very passionate about many things: he loved his garden, which he could grow things like no other, I believe that was because of his farming background, and during planting season in the spring there were a few neighbors that came around and checked out his crops; fishing, watching the grandkids fish off the dock and catch that "big" one; being outdoors and taking Rocky for a ride on the four wheeler; and spending time with family and friends. He always had the cribbage board ready for a game for whoever came over to visit.

Mark leaves behind his beloved wife, Jackie and his children, Amber (Louie) Kuisle, Heather (George) Zdenek and Jason Lee; along with four grandchildren, Parker, Eva, Lillian and Camden; his sister, Patsy (Stuart) Packard; brother, Tim (JoAnn) Lee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Leona; father-in- law, Maurice; brother, Larry and Uncle Bob and Aunt Billie. He will be greatly missed.
