G. L. Brightharp & Sons announces the transition of Mr. Mark A. Lewis who entered into rest January 2, 2026.

Mr. Lewis was a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a Retired Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Antoinette Lewis; two daughters, Whitney Lewis and Natasha Hill (Cavano Oliver); his father, Napoleon Lewis; a sister, Wendy Lewis; grandchildren, Whynter Lewis and Khalil Oliver; mother-in-law; Emma Williams; sisters-in-law, Jannie Green and Lisa (Maurice) Holloway; aunts, Rubeana Jackson, Shirley (Jerome) Williams and Carrie Williams; an uncle, Charlie Williams, Sr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 9, 2026 at New Beginning Ministries with Bishop Hezekiah Pressley officiating. Interment will follow in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.

Mark was a great individual to work with at Thermal Ceramics. We had great conversations about sports. Myself being a Steeler fan & him being a Browns fan we still got along. Rest on olde soldier.
