Mark Ervin Malenke

Mark Ervin Malenke, age 58 of Lakeville, MN, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2025. Mark was born in Orange City, Iowa to Darrel and Connie Malenke. Mark was working at Kraft-Heinz as an Engineer.

Mark is preceded in death by his father, Darrel Malenke. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Cindy; children, Ashley (Michael) Quandt, Brandon (Ashley) Malenke, Kelsey Malenke, and Bryce Malenke; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Abigail and Caden Quandt, and Macie, Alayna Malenke; mother, Connie (Verle) Duistermars; step-mother, Terri Malenke, siblings, Gary (Laura) Malenke, Pamela (Gavin) Brady, also nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Mark lived a full and meaningful life, defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and his deep passion for his work. For 29 years, he served as an Engineer at Kraft-Heinz, where he was respected not only for his skill and work ethic but also for his integrity, generosity, and readiness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mark had a remarkable talent for fixing just about anything, a gift that matched his practical mind and his desire to be of service.

While he found great satisfaction in his professional accomplishments, Mark considered his greatest achievement to be the close-knit family he built and cherished. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, and nothing brought him more joy than gathering the entire family for vacations, where memories were made that will be treasured for a lifetime.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM on Monday October 27, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville.

Service will be held at the church from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM, followed by burial at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at Mount Olivet Conference & Retreat Center 7984 257th St. W. Farmington, MN 55024; sponsored by Kraft/Heinz. Additional details will be provided at the service.
