Mark Mathiason Obituary
Age 68 of Saint Paul,
Passed away on June 23, 2025. Mark Mathiason was born in Mason City, Iowa, December 20, 1956. He spent the majority of his life in the Twin Cities, growing up in Roseville, and living in East Saint Paul since the 1980's. He attended college at Waldorf College in Forest Lake, Iowa, and the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, graduating with a bachelor's in history in 1989. He worked in retail at Sears and JC Penny for most of his working days. He had a strong appreciation for nostalgia, enjoying his North St Paul Friday Night Cruises and the Back to The 50's event. 2025 would have been his 50th High School reunion from Alexander Ramsey High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Inez and Alan. Mark is survived by his devoted cousins; close friends, Lorelee and Colleen; and brother, John. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Roseville on Friday, June 27th at 12pm. Remembrances may be made to a charity of personal choice.
