Dear Middleton Family - Mark and I have been friends since we worked together at Mitchell Law Firm. We have shared a lot of laughs during the years and he always had funny and sometimes unbelievable stories to tell. One of his favorite was about hitting a cow with his Corvette on the long, dark stretch of Kanis when your family lived in the home on the pond. Mark was always smiling, happy, complimentary and encouraging. He was a person you were always glad to see and visit with. He loved all of you dearly! Anita, he used to talk about the trip you two took to the Amazon and, Larry, you two were inseparable best friends. He loved you and cherished your relationship. All of you, Mark's wife and daughters have been in my prayers and will continue to be. We are all blessed to have known and shared great memories with him. May God grant you strength and peace. So very sorry for such a loss. Mark was such an Ambassador of Happiness for everyone who knew him. I was lucky enough to be engaged as the Secretary of UofA Student Body Assn during his tenure as President and got to observe the many accomplishments that this young man brought to his University. It still brings a smile when I remember all that he inspired his fellow members of this organization to achieve. He will be sorely missed. Prayers for comfort for your family.
