Mark, 63, of Spring Hill Florida went to Heaven on January 18, 2026.
Preceded in death by both parents. Survived by his wife Summer Melodie of 28 years, four children, Nicole Miler (granddaughters Sloan and Onyx) of Asheville, North Carolina; Bryan (Lilly) Miler of Sylva, North Carolina; Troy Norwood (grandson Wyatt) of Fort Myers, Florida; and Kailey Norwood of Spring Hill, Florida; sister Marina (Larry) Shaw of Spring Hill, Florida; two nephews, three great nephews and three great nieces.
To say Mark was a character is putting it mildly. He showed the world a man that was 100% all day, every day, and he raised his children the same way. Mark told you the truth, no matter what; and he would never ever sugarcoat anything. The world needs more men just like him.
Having never been to San Franciso, CA, he was a "die hard" 49ers football fan. He loved NASCAR back in the day before all the rules started changing, with idols such as Richard Petty, and Dale Earnhardt. Mark had a love for muscle cars, but his #1 hobby became his restoration of Classic Volkswagens – the bug life, which he passed onto his son Bryan.
Music – Mark could give anyone a run for their money as he knew bands, singers, players, when bands were started, what members left one band and went to another, etc. He loved 1970's classic rock and hard rock era, but then his main music passion turned to "thrash metal" which formed in the early 1980's with bands such as Metallica, and Rammstein in the 1990's.
A private family Celebration of Life has already taken place. He is already deeply missed, and his family and friends know that he is HEAVEN and able to finally rest. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to go to the American Kidney Fund https://www.kidneyfund.org/.
