Mark Monfort Obituary
Mark Owen Monfort, age 52, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2025. Mark was born on December 9, 1973 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ronald Monfort and the surviving Shelva Monfort.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by the mother of his children, Rachelle, and sister, Amy.
He is lovingly survived by his life partner, Mendy Ramey, his children, John Mayhew, Steven Phipps, Owen (Savannah) Monfort, Wade Sizemore, Jaela Monfort, Jalyn (Zach) Monfort, Amreigh Monfort, grandchildren, Grayson, Nolan, Tully, Braxton, Weston, Airalani, Kaleesi, Santana, Essance, siblings, Rhonda, Timothy, Ronnie, and many extended family members and friends.
He was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and most importantly, spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 for calling hours from 11am - 1pm with a Funeral Service starting at 1pm. A burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
