Mark A. Neading, age 71, of Canton passed away on November 27, 2025. He was born in Canton, Ohio to the late Chris John Neading Jr. and Barbara Ann (Federman) Neading. He was a 1972 graduate of Glenwood High School. Mark was a firefighter and EMT, dedicating thirty-eight years of service to Edgefield and Plain Township Fire Department. Additionally, Mark was a firefighter and safety officer for thirty-one years at Nasa Glenn Research Center. Mark was an avid Ohio State fan, loved NASCAR, and his annual trip with his family to Michigan Speedway. He loved being outside socializing and spending time at his grandchildren's sporting events.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings Richard (Joyce) Neading, Nancy Neading-Malsky, and Chris John Neading IV (Jeannie).

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Tanya Ballora; children Joy (Michael) Neading-Rucker, Alison (Dan) Michael, and Brianna Grim; grandchildren Evie, Max, Danny, and Everett; dear family friend, Jack (Donna) Jackson.

Calling hours will be Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4-6 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave North. Memorial services will begin at 6 PM with Rev. Michael Millet officiating. Final Alarm Services will begin approximately at 6:30 PM in the funeral home.
