One more item that I just discovered. Mark signed my yearbook on the inside front cover. Ironic that we both found what we were looking for.

I was notified of Mark's passing by way of SUNY at Buffalo obituaries. I will always remember Mark as a brilliant (>>smart). He would know that symbolism. He was also very helpful, especially in our Honor Society group study sessions preparing for final exams. Girls were not in the picture, but obviously Cassandra was an exception. The parallels in our life stories have some eerie similarities. Both in technical fields (mine was engineering). Married a woman less than a year after meeting, but mine was in 1971. We both must have known it was meant to be since we will celebrate anniversary #54 this October. We both had a baby girl first and a boy second. Our 2 have gone on to medical careers, also saving many, many lives like Mark's students. To Cassandra, Elizabeth & Benjamin: Cherish the good times you had with Mark. I know that whether my wife (Ruth) or I pass first, that is what we will do and encourage our "kids" to do. I am attaching his photo from out Riverside High 1964 yearbook.
