1924 - 2025
Mark Pawlak, 101, of Bethel, husband of Anne (Kropodra) Pawlak, father of Suzanne Lemke (Brian) and Linda Bryers (Dennis), died on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury, with the Rev. David Riley officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to Regional Hospice and Home Care, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810. Mark and his wife Anne were dear friends of my late parents for more than 50 years. Mark was such a kind man, always stopping by to visit and ready to lend a hand to anyone in need . He and my dad loved talking their vegetable garden and their lawns . Both shared a joy for working outside. After my parents passed, Anne´s thoughtfulness in keeping in touch through emails and checking in on us meant the world to us . You can feel the laughs and good times in these photos, the kind of fun that really defined their friendships.
