Mark A. Prah Sr. , 67 of McClellandtown went to be with the Lord on Sunday January 11, 2026. Born December 28, 1958 in Uniontown, son of Frances (Dzurilla) Prah who still survives and the late Frank B. Prah. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister Kathy and brother Charles. He is survived by his wife Lu Ann Kopacko Prah, his children Mark A. (Bethany) Prah Jr. of New Salem, and Tiffany Prah of McClellandtown; his grandchildren Penelope, Violet and Sawyer Prah; his brothers Anthony (Barbara) Prah and Frank (Cheryl) Prah and his sister Christine Prah Koch. Also numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. Mark retired from the Fort Martin Power Plant after 36 years of service, he was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Church, the Fairbanks Gun Club and Messmore Gun Club, the Footdale Fire Hall and the New Boro Indians Club, Camp Father and Son, Camp Newman and Camp ICU. He enjoyed hunting out west, bear hunting in Potter County and fishing. He loved his grandchildren who affectionately called him Poppy. He liked to farm, was mechanically inclined and a master craftsman, was a man of faith and took his mother to church every Saturday night. He was known for his World Famous Chicken and was booked weekly to cook his famous chickens for events, charities and organizations. Visitation at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Extension on Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Friday Prayers of Transfer at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Mary (Nativity) Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, Pa 15401. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial donations to St. Mary (Nativity) Church in Uniontown.
