Mark Reedy

Mark Robert Reedy, 69, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 with family and friends by his side. Mark was a graduate of Jesuit High School, obtained his geology degree from UC Davis and law degree from University of San Francisco(USF). Mark was put on this earth to help people and that's exactly what he did his entire life. Truly, a "man for others". A resident of Sunnyvale, Mark was passionate about the environment and helping those less fortunate as evidenced by his multiple trips to El Salvador to support the local people with their basic living needs. An avid outdoorsman, Mark enjoyed his ski trips to the Sierras, hikes to the top of Mount Shasta, and coaching high school tennis.

Predeceased by his father, Bob, and survived by his mother Helen and siblings Randy (Valerie), Jerry (Lee), Maureen (David), and Chris (Brigitte), along with many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11am at St. Ignatius Church. Contributions can be made to the ALS Foundation, St, John of God Catholic Church in San Francisco, or the Community Law Center at Santa Clara University.
