Jolan Gutshall

Jolan "Jay" (Aranyas) Gutshall passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 2003, at William Penn Care Center in the Delmont area, at age 90. She was born in Pittsburgh and was formerly of West Homestead and Hazelwood. Beloved mother of Nancy (Eugene) Psota, of Delmont. Grandmother of Michael Psota, of Apollo, Susan Sperlik, of Export, Matthew Shell, of Oregon, and Nathan Shell, of Washington. Great-grandmother of Shawn Sperlik, of Export, and Jacob Shell, of Oregon. Sister of Rose Stephens, of Munhall, and Velma Toth, of Arizona. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Sabo) Aranyas; her husband, Earl J. Gutshall; daughter, Eileen Shell Akins, of St. George, Utah; brother, William Aranyas; and sisters, Irma Molnar, Elizabeth "Betty" Kovach, Ann Rittick and Margaret "Peg" Tokay. Friends received at the SAVOLSKIS-WASIK-GLENN FUNERAL HOME INC., 3501 Main St., Munhall, a member of National Selected Morticians, Sunday 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Donations suggested to Alzheimer's Association, Pittsburgh Chapter; Greater Pittsburgh Hospice; or charity of the donor's choice.
