Mark Rodriguez

Mark A. Rodriguez, 35, of Watervliet, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2004, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, from an eight month illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Wayne Bell officiating and Harold Gast doing the eulogy. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Friends may call on the family from 5-8 P.M. on Monday, December 27, 2004, also at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family for his children. Mark was born to Mario A. and Sandy (Fain) Rodriguez (Morris) on June 19, 1969 in St. Joseph. Mark married Melissa Crowe on November 11, 1995 in Mesa, AZ. He was an assistant store manager at Pep Boys in Kalamazoo. He was a loving devoted husband and father. The most important things in Mark?s life were his family and his job. Mark is survived by his wife, Melissa of watervliet; children, Mark, Jr, age six and Miguel age four of watervliet; mother and step-father, Sandy and Lynn Morris of watervliet; sisters, Celina (Mike) Ayo of Queen Creek, Az and La Shonda (Chris) Howarth of Bradford, AR; brother, Mario, Jr. ?Tony? (Charlene) Rodriguez of West Plains, MO; five nephews; ten nieces; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Mario A. on October, 29, 1989; grandparents, William and Ruth Fain; grandfather, Julian Rodriguez; grandmother, Amelia Rodriguez; and special cousin Curtis Pitts.
