Mark "Brutus" Ryman

Mark "Brutus" Ryman, age 36 of Madison, Tennessee, passed away July 24, 2022. He was born on April 2, 1986 in Nashville to Charlie and Gay Sicso Ryman. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Fat Boy Ryman; maternal grandparents Richard Gray and Irene Mildred Sisco; close family friends, Rowdy and Jessiyka Taylor; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and sister-in-law, Allie.
Survived by his daughter, Talynn "Daddy" Ryman; Talynn's mother, Austin Lewis; parents Charlie and Gay Ryman; sister Mandy June Ryman and Nicolette Ryman; brother Matt Ryman (Amber); paternal grandmother, Granny Ryman; nieces and nephews Maycie, Aubree, Lexie, Neveah, Lil Leo, Rylee, Tinley, Maelee, Bubby, Enzlee, Bentley, Tristyn and Kegan; Talynn's sister, Charlie Lewis; uncles Dickey, Joe, Ricky and Big; aunts Sissy, Laurie, Paula, Leah, Debra, and Kellie; girlfriend Catherine; and a host of friends, co-workers, cousins and extended family.
Mark was the proud son of Charlie and was considered a momma's boy to Gay. His daughter, Talynn was the most important part of his life and she was his whole world. Talynn lovingly referred to her daddy as a big baby, but he always had a big heart. He was a Vanderbilt Commodores fan and drove race cars in the Pure Stock division. He loved listening to Jelly Roll and he was a true family man. He was especially close to his Granny Ryman. He always had a running joke with his sister, Mandy and brother, Matt on who was the favorite child. He is going to be missed by his family and they will never be the same without him here. The family is overwhelmed by all the love and support for Mark and that is carrying them through this difficult time. In death, Mark was still able to help others by giving the gift of life via organ donation.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, July 29, 2022, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Spring Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Dobbins officiating. The family has requested that everyone wear red on the day of the service. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Ryman, Mandy Ryman, Chris "Critter" Brodrick, Kevo McBride, Travis Ryman and Will Ryman. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday until time of service.
