Please accept my condolences in his unexpected death. It was nice of him to give of himself to help protect the elephants. May God grant the family comfort and inner peace, He is a great Refuge for those who are crying today.

Saddened to hear of the tragic death of Mark Shand. I had one of his books when I was a young girl and it was one of my favourites. His book remains a beautiful memory for me and his beautiful writing about elephants will never leave me.
