Mark V. Shook, a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on June 12, 1956, in Cincinnati, Mark was known for his great sense of humor and charismatic personality, qualities that endeared him to many throughout his life.

Mark had a fulfilling career as a realtor on the west side of Cincinnati, where he also served as a title agent. His professional life was marked by dedication and an unwavering commitment to providing the best service for his clients. An Oak Hills High School graduate, Mark's education laid the foundation for a successful and rewarding career.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mark was a proud Eagle Scout, a testament to his commitment to community service and personal development from a young age. He was passionate about various hobbies and interests, which included watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals games, cooking and grilling, playing cards, going on golfing trips and hanging with his buddies at Patrick's. He cherished the moments spent enjoying concerts by REO Speedwagon and Chicago, encapsulating his zest for life and enjoyment of music.

Mark fondly remembered camping trips at Cottonwood in Indiana and relished the time spent at Reds games, creating lasting memories with family and friends. He had a deep love for his family, especially for their dogs - Brownie, Hopi, Biscuit, Shawnee, Prairie, Gracie, Yogi, Zach - and Kansas the cat, who brought him joy and companionship.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Ritz-Shook; his siblings, Karen (Tom) Bedel and Mike (Tracy) Shook; and his nieces and nephews, Joey (Cara), Lindsey (Nick), Logan, Anna, and Morgan. He also took great pride in being a great uncle to Laila and Quinlan. Mark’s in-laws include Dianne (Mark) and Ron (Sandy), Ginny (Ron), Tom (Trisha), Linda (Joe), Randy (Annie), and Russ (Jenny).

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Kathryn Shook, and his first wife, Darlene Shook. The love and support he received from his family and friends shaped his life and will be cherished eternally.

A visitation will be held on December 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
