Mark Steven Soldat

I miss Mark and think of him every time I hear a Christine McVie tune on the radio. A special friend I greatly miss!

Mark was a great person and a better lawyer. He will be truly missed.

Prayers for the family of such a dear friend. Enjoyed many times in high school in musicals in which we both performed! So sad when I read this post! May God give you comfort during this time of loss!

We want to send our sincere condolences to Marks family! We knew Mark as classmates at Johnston. We talked about how Mark was fun to talk to. Nice to hear he had a good life.

All of the kind and descriptive things in the obituary about Mark are true - and more. Mark was a special person who valued friends and helping those who sought legal justice. As a fellow world-traveler Mark and I loved to discuss journeys to far-away places that included 3rd-world countries and unique cultures. He valued meeting old friends for lunch and was always sincerely interested in the lives of all he enjoyed being with. I will miss those many great and varied lunch-time discussions about music, good food, politics, and local and national events. Mark lived life to the fullest and his passing has left a great void for many of us. I consider myself fortunate to have been his friend.
