I am so sorry for your loss. I never got a chance to meet Mark in person but talked to him via text or phone whenever I had a travel question. Mark was mentoring me through Outside Agents. I found out instantly that he knew everything, not just cruise stuff but everything. He helped me with what I thought were stupid questions, "there are no stupid questions," he said. He told me inside secrets, he had learned over his long career. He always said, "just call me, you don't need to make an appointment..." and " #1 get out of the house". He said to become a Commodore on Princess, I did it Mark! He would be proud of me.
When he said he got sick, I sent a text after a few days later asking how he was doing and to take his vitamins, for the 1st time ever, he did not answer, very unlike him.
I was looking forward to a trip to Tampa where I could see his wall of certificates he told me about. I'm sure I would have learned more in that trip than I would have been able to remember.
I'm sure he is planning cruises and helping people in Heaven. He was just that type of guy. The Cruise Captain of the Clouds.
Again I am so sorry for your families loss, I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
