Mark Kevin Thomas, 65, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at his home. He was born January 4, 1960 in Evansville to the late Evelyn Harris and Max Thomas.
Mark was a veteran of the US Army 101st Airborne Division. He was a line worker at Pittsburgh Glass Works for many years. Mark enjoyed fishing and was fascinated with Native American culture. He was a firearm enthusiast and gunsmith. Mark loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially his "Little Man, Ty-Ty".
He is survived by his children, Pitara (Nathan) Hawkins and Samantha Bellinger; grandchildren, Gabe, Kye, Boogie, Bell, Z baby, Rew, Ty-Ty, Lexie (A.J.), Mercedes and Gray'ce; great-grandchild, K.J.; and siblings, Pat (Joe) DiMatteo, Kathisu (Sam) Cuellar and Gordon (Dixie) Thomas.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Thomas.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel is handling his arrangements.

Our condolences! I have known Mark from way back. He would come over and just hangout with John & I. My husband Kenny a couple of times would go to his house and watch the game. We haven't seen him in awhile. My son John told me about Mark's passing. Again we are sorry for the family's loss.
