Mark Gordon Thompson

Mark Gordon Thompson (October 5, 1965 – November 8, 2025), of Amherst, NH, died peacefully in his sleep after a long period of declining health. He had worked in industrial sales for most of his career until he was forced to retire due to health reasons.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, and, while he had no children, he did have dogs he loved dearly: Spike, a Yorkie who was the best man at his wedding; Tessa, a Labrador retriever mix; and Shiro, a poodle he grew to love.

Mark loved to travel. He loved to learn how things work and would tinker with and rebuild engines and build small models until his health prevented it. He still enjoyed learning, and when he visited museums, he would educate Lisa on how the things on display worked.

A memorial service will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 154 Main Street, Nashua, on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to attend.
