Mark "Mariusz" Trela

Mark „Mariusz" Trela, 60, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Son of the late Kazimierz and Maria (Hess) Trela, he came from Poland to the US in 1975 and was an employee of Peter Paul Electronics for many years.
Mark was a hardworking man who lived a simple life. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially with his goddaughter Margaret.
A loving brother and uncle, his is survived by his sister, Wieslawa Wach and her husband Marian of Kensington; his brothers, Janusz Trela and Witold Trela and their families; his nephew, Matthew Wach; his niece, Margaret Wach and extended family and friends in the US and Poland. Mark was predeceased by his niece, Diane Wach.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. The Mass of Christian Burial will be following the calling hours at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St, New Britain, CT. He will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
