Mark Allen Trimble, 68, of Boody, IL passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
A service to honor Mark's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Blue Mound. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Casual attire is requested for Mark's services. Mark will be laid to rest in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound. Memorial contributions may be directed to Cancer Care, Decatur, IL.
Mark was born on March 2, 1954 in Decatur, IL, the son of Boyd and Mary Ann (Stanley) Trimble. He married Teresa R. Martin on May 7, 1998. Mark served was a volunteer for the Blue Mound Fire Department for 15 years and also served on the Blue Mound Township for 12 years, 4 of which he was the road commissioner. He drove semis and farmed and also enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Mark is survived by his wife: Teresa R. Trimble of Boody, IL; children: Cindy Hobson of Austin, TX, Troy (Carly) Trimble of Taylorville, IL and Tenneil (Stephen) Pearson of Taylorville, IL; brother: David Trimble of Blue Mound, IL; sister: Renae (Danny) Kitchens of Blue Mound, IL; grandchildren: Amanda Fluker, Lance (Kaylyn) Miller, Blake Trimble, Dylan Tipsword, Andrew (Jessie) Pearson, Spencer Trimble, Lydia Pearson, Izzy Pearson, Ellie Ager and CJ Ager; great grandsons: Ryder Pearson and Jacob Tipsword; one niece, one nephew and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Dale Trimble.
