Still not many days when Mark does not come to mind. You were always my rock my friend. Always an island of peace when things got so bad at home. Your house was always where i could go. I drove by Woodside golf course a while back and all the cross country thoughts and feelings came back. I spent many cross country meets looking at your backside trying to chase you down. Never got that accomplished. I did get the school record from you in the two mile run in track. I proudly held that for three days til you took it back from me! You were a good man, Mark, and a better friend. RIP my dear friend.

Dearest Cathy, Tom and family,
I was so sorry to learn of Mark's passing. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mark, but I am certain he was one of the finest...Heaven has gained an angel of a guy. Temporary separation my friends.
Love,
Cindy (Murray, class of 70)

Mark was an 8th. grader when I came to Nevln Jr. High as a Spanish teacher.
Mark always had a smile and was a good student and a kind and polite young man.
Our hearts ache for you, his family @ this difficult
time.
We were out of town @ the time of his visitation and service.

Steph & family-
I'm so sorry for your heartache & sadness at this time. Even though it's been years since we worked together Steph, I can think back to Christmas parties and hearing both you and Mark laughing (and it was usually at some story or joke told by Carol or Co). I'm sure there are many stories that Mark lived to tell as well! Cherish those tales for they will forever live on!

My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Trusty Family. I will continue to pray that God will touch your hearts and provide comfort during this difficult time of loss.
I enjoyed Mark's friendship during our school years and we shared a lot of laughs together. His smile was contagious and his laugh so genuine.
Blessings to your Families.

Twig was a good man and a good friend. I was next to him in PE class in junior high when coach Joye first called him Twiggy (after the model) That nickname stuck forever and he wore it proudly. We had a lot of great times growing up in our Mayberry/Ankeny during a golden time to be a kid.
My prayers for his family and friends as we will all miss him.
