Mark Andrew Vest, 61, of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at his residence. He was born on April 2, 1964 in Chillicothe, the son of Larry E. Vest Sr., and Patricia (Doughty) Vest.
Surviving is his mother and step-father, Patricia (Charles) Mattox, Chillicothe, siblings, Jeffrey (Patty) Vest, Yellowbud; Eric Vest, Chillicothe; Larry E. Vest, Jr. (Connie Reed), Chillicothe; Shelly (Terry) Frey, Chillicothe; and Janette Taylor, FL; aunt, Peg (Terry) Good, uncles, William (Chris) Doughty, Lester (Pam) Doughty, Ed Doughty, and Paul Doughty, and a host of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mark had worked as a mold technician for Arrow Plastics and was also a poll worker for the Ross County Board of Elections. He was an avid reader and known for his thorough knowledge of the Bible. In his younger years, he was heavily involved in weightlifting.
