Mark Patrick Wagnon, Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on December 5, 2025, in Marietta, South Carolina. He was born on October 2, 1957, at Paris France, AFB. Mark’s journey through life was marked by his dedication to Jesus, family, career, and his many passions.
Mark pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering and went on to enjoy a successful 25-year career as a mechanical engineer. His knowledge and expertise made a significant impact in his field, and he approached his work with the same spirit he brought to all aspects of his life.
Those who knew Mark often described him as funny, friendly, and filled with faith. His spirited personality brought joy to those around him. Mark had an unwavering ability to make people smile and laugh, creating an atmosphere of warmth wherever he went.
In his personal life, Mark cherished his hobbies and interests. He found great pleasure in fishing and took special delight in spending time with his grandchildren. His love for walking and cartoons also revealed a light-hearted side that endeared him to family and friends alike.
Mark is predeceased by his first wife Fe Wagnon, he is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Wagnon; his children, Mark Wagnon Jr., (Jennifer), Christina Wagnon Garrett (Jonathan), and Esther Wagnon; and his cherished grandchildren: Judah, Gavin, Gracie Wagnon, Caroline, Jacob, and Jensen Garrett. He is also survived by his sisters, Susan, Lynn, and Cheryl.
Mark's legacy will be remembered through the love and memories shared with those who knew him best. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Wagnon; mother, Virginia Wagnon; and brother, Donnie Wagnon.
His presence will be deeply missed, yet the laughter and love he shared will continue to echo in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:00PM at Legacy Church Global, 8211 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29617.
