Mark Walther, 78, passed away Thursday, July 18th, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Milton and Theresa (Rosenberger) Walther. He was the beloved husband of Janet (Schwartz) Walther. Mark served our country honorably in the US Navy. After the Navy he worked for Aqua of Willow Grove. He served as a Scout Master Troop 591 for many years at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Mark enjoyed his time fishing and hunting.
Along with his wife, Mark is survived by his daughter Laura Walther, a son Gary Walther; his siblings: Merwyn Walther and Terry Hansford, Buddy, his beloved cat, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings: Squirt Walther, Andrea Walther, and Maria Verdecchio.
Family and friends are welcome to call at 11:30 am, on Thursday, July 25th, 2024, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073, with a funeral mass beginning at 12:30 pm. He will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery following the service with full military honors.
Donations may be made in his memory to Paralyzed Veterans of America or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

So sorry for your loss. Mark was my son's, EJ Wahl's, Scout leader. EJ is also in Heaven. Mark was a good man.
