I worked with Mark for approximately 8 years, back when CEA was moving into it's new office building in Hartford! Mark was a pleasure to work for. He was kind, compassionate, professional, intelligent, and honorable. He always had a smile for staff members and time to stop and speak with them. I have thought about him often over the years. He was one of the best executives I have worked for. Condolences to his family and former CEA colleagues. RIP, Mark.

R I P Mark. Your Son wrote a very beautiful obituary for you. While I did not have a close relationship with you at Bulkeley, we were classmates and and I am sad to here of your passing. Peter Donahue - Class of 65"

On behalf of Robert Corso, who now resides in memory care in Kansas City, I offer my condolences to Mary, Christopher and family. Mark was a lifelong friend of Bob´s, working together in education in Hartford. Although I only met Mark once, what was clear to me was the brotherly love Bob had for Mark, and Mary as well. Their humor was second to none, each trying to outdo the other, and the stories Bob shared of their antics make me laugh to this day. Keep laughing, Mark, I know Bob will too when you meet again.

Mark was bigger than life itself, yet a humble man. He was such a force as a teacher leader. His quick smile, his incredible intelligence to see the macro of anything and then hone in on the micro for effectiveness. He did all effortlessly, and with good humor. He was fun to be around. Mark was a role model for me and a good friend. I truly send deep condolences to Mary, Christopher and his family, and all of Mark's family and friends.
