Mark Lee Weiss, 64, of Bonneau, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday morning at a hospital in North Charleston. Born on March 30, 1961, in Moncks Corner, Mark was the son of Norman L. Mark dedicated much of his career to electrical work, having been employed by Nucor and Bobby Davis, as well as working alongside his brother Lynn in roofing. Outside of his professional life, Mark was a man of many talents and interests. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, painting, and was an avid NASCAR fan. These hobbies brought him joy and fulfillment throughout his life. Mark cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren. He played an active role in their lives, participating in their activities and supporting them in all that they did. His love for family was evident to all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shanna Roome Weiss; two daughters, Sharon Grant and Tim and Morgan Weiss and Chris, all of Summerville; a brother, Lynn Weiss and Jackie of Moncks Corner; his mother-in-law, Kathy Raymond of Bonneau; his brother-in-law, Ricky Roome of Tampa, Florida; and four grandchildren, Shaylynn Grant, Trentyn Grant, Skyla Churchill, and Jamaya Grant.

His memorial service will be 6:00 PM Friday evening, January 9, 2026, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 PM until the hour of service on Friday.
