My condolences to the Wentzel family, I wish that I could have seen Mark one more time before his life on this earth ended. I met Mark in 1973 at Nellis Air Force Base. We worked in the same career field, I learned a lot from Mark, seeing that he was a Sgt., and I was a AIC at the time. When Mark left Nellis, we met again at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. At that time, we were both Sergeants and married. Our first Christmas at Kadena Air Base, Mark surprised my nine (9) year old daughter by gifting her a puppy from his German Shepherd dog (I believe was named Lady). As you can tell, I will never forget Mark's friendship or service to his country.
Thank God for letting you be a part of my life!
