Not sure what to say?

You are in my heart always. So many things bring back memories of shared laughter and the Mutley snicker
Every time I hear the song Anticipation by Carly Simon I remember the way we used to sing it and it makes me smile. I am so grateful for all the times you were there for me. Somehow I feel that you are still riding shotgun in my life
I love you,
Sis

I of course have many memories of Mark! However, I will share just one of the most special ones to me. Soon after Mark received his driver's license, he took me to Perkins for breakfast. Although he accidentally locked me in the car and used a clothes-hanger to get me out, I will always vividly remember that day, because it showed me that he cared and wanted to do things with me alone as a quote regular brother and friend! I believe that we are sad by his sudden passing, because we will miss his knowledge, laughter, and no nonsense attitude for life! Also I of course will miss his cookies that he made just for me for Christmases and my birthdays. However, his sudden passing should remind us to always truly live everyday as it could be our last with no regrets and appreciating every moment. Nevertheless, we need not to be sad, because I believe that Mark is in the best place of all with watching over us until we meet him again one day!

Although Mark's life was shorter than average, we believe that he truly did everything that he wanted to do everyday without worrying what others may think. And although he was a very private person and could be considered as a quote loner for the most part, we believe that he truly cared about family and friends. For example, he always attended major or special family gatherings, and he always came when he was called upon to help. Also he displayed greeting cards and pictures in his home from family and friends. Mark had interests in history, music, mathematics, chess, electronics, cooking and so forth, but he didn't care to seek gratification for his intelligence and knowledge. If he wanted to learn or do something, he just did it himself, and he wasn't afraid to move on if he got tired of something. Mark also had a great interest in learning new words just out of curiosity. In fact, his glasses were found in his open dictionary by his front door. Although Mark didn't want a computer, I believe that he learned everything that he wanted to know in other ways. I'm very thankful and proud to have him forever as our beloved son, and we look forward to seeing him again someday!

"Those who have given of themselves to others will live forever in every single heart they have touched!"

Thank you to all who wrote in Mark's guestbooks online and at his memorial gathering! We appreciate knowing your thoughts and memories of him! We know that he's very humbled by your kind words!

Mark was my big brother, he was everything i ever wanted or needed from a big brother. He taught me so much about life. Growing up all i ever wanted was to be like him. I miss my big brother.
