Mark Allen Wheeler, 67, of Johnstown, passed away at home on November 06, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born on July 28, 1958, to the Late James M and Joyce A. (Pelphrey) Wheeler in Columbus, Ohio.
Mark is survived by his wife Sandy of 48 years, daughter, Marlena (Derek) Rhodeback and grandchildren, Owen, Liam and Emma of Newark, OH, extended son, Jacob (Jenny) Jarvis and grandchildren, Danika, Alaina and Kaylee of Middletown, PA, brother Steve (Judy) Wheeler of Mt. Vernon, OH, sister Kelly (Jason) Burris of Mt. Vernon, OH, nephews, Austin Glassman, Jason Wheeler, Casey Wheeler, Jacob Burris, nieces, Carlee Glassman, Maryann Burris, great nephews, Colton Glassman, Christopher Slaughter, Theodore Slaughter, Ryan Wheeler, Lane Wheeler, Jaxson Wheeler, great nieces, Aubree Glassman, Brittany Wheeler, Alison Wheeler, Katy Wheeler, Reagan Burris, Brooklynn Wheeler.
Mark is preceded in death by his son, Bobby James (BJ), brother-in-law, Bobby O Barnette Jr, father and mother-in-law, Bobby O and Shirley M (Chafin) Barnette, and sister-in-law, Sally Glassman.
Mark was a man of God. He dearly loved his family and country.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov 11, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH. Graveside Service is Wednesday, November 12th, 2025, at 11 am, with Pastor Jeff Houghton officiating at the Greenhill Cemetery, 7621 Johnstown-Alexandria Rd, Johnstown, OH.
