My sympathies to your family, Julia. I enjoyed working with Mark at National Travelers Life -- great memories. I'm with Mark . . . there isn't a Hallmark movie that I haven't seen! My Dad once told me that during life you will be lucky to meet ten friends that are compassionate, of good character, and will leave you with a positive lasting impression.
My Dad was right, and Mark is one person who I am lucky enough to call a friend.
I first met Mark when he invited me to join his running friends consisting of Leroy, Kathy, Trish, and myself. We would run a few days a week, through all of Iowa´s four seasons.
Later, I joined Mark and his brother Craig at an annual golf event to raise money for the Girl Scots of Greater Iowa.
Mark was always a joy to be around even during a cold run down the Des Moines River or the blistering heat of a five-hour round of golf.
I look forward to reuniting with Mark again and am so glad I have him as a friend.
