Jo-Ann,

I'm very sorry for your loss. I know your grandchildren have brightened your difficult days during Mark's illness. I'm sure they'll continue to do so. I hope you also have many good memories to comfort you. My sincere sympathy to you.

I'm saddened to hear of the passing of Mark. When I was assigned to the United Methodist Church in Rocky Hill, one of my first visits was with Mark. With his kind help and willingness to help me understand Rocky Hill, I was better able to serve the needs of those who sought out my church. I was reassigned for a couple of years and decided to return to Rocky Hill to retire. I was sorry to hear he had retired. Mark was a good man and will always be remembered for the kind of man he was and the values he brought to his career.

Mark and I both started our careers in municipal human services at around the same time many years ago. He was a great colleague and was dedicated to helping clients in any way he could.

Jo-Ann- I came across Mark´s obituary and was shocked. I´m not sure you remember me but I took your position in Newington Human Services when you went on maternity leave with Ryan. I know it was a long time ago but I do remember you and I knew of Mark through his position in Rocky Hill who was always a very well respected social worker. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. May Mark rest in peace.
