Mark Daniel Wise Sr., a cherished resident of Ellabell and Bloomingdale, GA, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026 at Hospice Savannah. Born on May 31, 1962, in Savannah, GA, Mark lived a life full of adventure, love, and dedication to his family and passions.
Mark was a man who appreciated the simple joys of life, such as fishing and camping along the riverbanks. His love for drag racing was only surpassed by his profound devotion to his family. He cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be lovingly remembered by those he leaves behind.
He is survived by his children: Christina VanBrackle (Michael), Victoria Deloach, April Wise (Mike), and Bubba Wise, Jr. (Lacie); his beloved grandchildren, Hunter (Kenzie), Adan, Ethan, Collin, Kenzie, Kayden, and Sadie; and his great-grandson, Hudson. Mark also leaves behind his sister, Susan Wise (Dawn), his beloved dog, Bonnie, along with numerous other family members and a multitude of friends who treasured his warmth and kindness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolphus Eugene Wise and Vonsteen "Vonnie" Brinson Wise, his brother, Paul Wise and many cherished childhood friends.
The family will hold a Visitation at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7:00 pm at the same location.
Arrangements have been lovingly provided by Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Mark’s legacy is woven into the hearts of his family and friends, who will always remember his laughter, generosity, and unwavering spirit. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
