Mark Wright

Mark Vernet Wright, age 71, an avid farmer/rancher passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 18, 2022, after a short battle with lung cancer.
Mark was born March 29, 1951. He spent his childhood on the family farm/ranch in Straw, Montana. After graduating from Moore High School in 1969, he started to farm on his own. There he met his best friend Debbie Johnson, and they raised their three children. Mark loved riding horses in his younger days and loved driving his corvette as he got older. Mark s passion for farming never faded, even after he officially retired, he got a job working on a farm in Shepherd, Montana. Those who knew Mark the best would say that he could be brutally honest and that he always had something to say. But everyone knew Mark loved his family and was always there when someone was in trouble. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him, but we will especially miss his sense of humor.
Mark is survived by his children: Tammie Kesler, Stephanie Blatnic, Kevin Wright; his grandchildren: Mercedes Taylor, Hailey Taylor, Lucas Blatnic, Olivia Kesler, Gage Blatnic, Adelaide Kesler.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 2:00 pm on August 26, 2022 at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Billings MT.
